About 22 combined Big Bend, non SAS, manual(2.3), stock tires. Roughly 25 mpg on the freeway, 20-21 around town. I live in Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky with lots of elevation change too.

18.7 on average. Mainly up and down hills on the highway with a bit of off-road and very little in town.

Am I the only one who seems to be getting horrible mpg? Almost worse than my 09 jeep. 2023 wildtrak with only 300 miles on it sitting at 13.2 mpg. Id say 80% is city driving in normal mode. Heard possibly sport mode is better mpg? Or maybe it’s still in break in period and will get better. Didn’t buy it for the mileage but was hoping to at least get 15-16 ha

Very few are getting horrible mileage. I genenerally can top 20 mpg even when I'm climbing to the tops of mountains at 8000 feet. It has been like that from day one. I just leave mine in normal mode and either 2H or 4A depending on whether I'm on dirt or not.

But I drive mine gently almost never waking up the turbocharger and keeping it at 70 mph or below even on the 80 mph freeway. I'm betting that you could change your driving habits and see a big improvement.

There is a display mode that shows your mpg in a circle with the average in the center and a pointer for what you're getting now. You want that pointer on the right side of the dial, where straight up is 20 mpg. It also helps if you're not stopping all the time.

Gratuitous photo at a fire lookout in the tops of the mountains:

I've been above 20mpg for the last few tanks on 93 octane with mixed driving, I keep saying it but I think it'd easily get 2-3 more with a hi-flow muffler, FMIC upgrade, and maybe an intake

I'm consistently between 21-22 hand calculated. To those with low numbers, you either run at high speeds, do jack rabbit starts, and full speed and jamb the brakes when stopping. If you are always into the boost, your numbers will plunge. Pay to play I guess.
