I think the Badlands stance (honestly any of the non SAS's) look fine. I mean the Sasquatch package looks really cool, but unless you are actually next to one, your rig will look plenty big. If it bothers you that some Bronco's and Jeeps may be taller, well you have to decide if that is worth $5K.

In the end, I finally decided I didn't want the extra crap I wont use, the cost of replacing the tires that likely don't drive as well as 32"s for 99% of the driving I do, and the hassle of getting into the taller rig.

Best of luck on your choice!

35's make the stance, hands down. Putting the two side-by-side just proves that point more. I couldn't imagine buying a Bronco without having 35's on it. To me going with 33's would be the equivalent of buying a gas powered Super Duty :)

The pictures I took of the Cyber Orange Badlands don't even compare to how good it looks in person. The stance with 33's is absolutely perfect, proportionally. That being said, I am going with the Sasquatch Package.

I love my Jeep with 35's and it is my daily driver. It does just fine, but if you need to drive more than 2-3 hours it gets a little old. This is mostly because of the factory gearing, but also partially because of the nature of the way a solid front axle vehicle handles.

If you're on the fence, get the Sasquatch Package. If it's a little out of your price range, don't sweat it and rock the 33's. It seriously is the perfect proportions for the two door.

If you decide 35's are too big later on, I can almost guarantee you will be able to swap them with someone else's 33's and then you can recalibrate your speedo like it never happened.

Call me crazy, but sometimes I think the BL lift is a bit too much for the 32.7/11.2 tires. The wheel gap makes the radius of the tire visually smaller, and in front view, the tires look slender for that level of lift. The sasquatch is squated with beefier tires. I've thought about this a lot and considered going to OBX instead of BL, paired with 33.2/11.1 tires (0.5" bigger dia) and steel bumper for more tread exposure. My wheel gap will go from 7.5" to 6.5", and the tires wont look as slender from front view. The overall vehicle will sit 0.5" lower than the BL is the negative, but not sure how noticeable that will be unless it's parked next to say a sasquatch. Think Badlands Overland (which didnt have the lift) but without the poke.

It wasn’t too bad but it was there. Not sure about the flares. You can kind of see the left front tire rubbing a little in the pic I took below.

Maybe have to meet in the middle at a 34" :) to stop the rubbing. I do like the look of the
outlander.

Now here’s the real question, who’s willing to wait for the manual Sasquatch?

Ford Bronco {thread} {filename}
I am definitely willing to wait, but doubt Ford is going to have a way for me to delay my build until 2022.

 Well, If I Squatch I will probably replace the 35's with 33's or at least a bit narrower tire when the originals wear out...but then I also drive a 6.2 l gas F250 so....

The Bronco is not a big vehicle, and 33s aren’t small, but you’d probably be better off going off needs than looks.

My Tundra CrewMax has oem sized tires on it, and they look pretty beefy. The Badlands tires are slightly larger on a vehicle that compares in size like this:

Overall length 229” vs 174”
Wheelbase 146” vs 100”
Grounds Clearance 10.4” vs 9-11.4”

I imagine the stance of the Badlands in person is going to be terrific.

I’m in the same boat with getting a Sasquatch package or simply upgrade to optional wheels and tires on the BL. I’m trying to do the math on the final drive gear to see if leaving the 4.46:1 is better for the 33s or upgrading to the 4.70:1 for an upgrade at a later date... 4.70:1 using 33s is going to be close to 3,700 rpms cruising at 77 mph; 4.46:1 will be closer to 3,500 rpms.

Sasquatch will be 3,474 rpms at 77 mph but with heavier tires and more resistance.

I don’t care much about fuel mileage but do worry running mid-3,000 rpms for long periods of time could cause excessive wear and tear.
These calculations are wrong. Unless you plan on driving in 7th gear on the highway.

4.70
285/70/17's (badlands 33's)
10th gear

2,343 rpm @ 70mph

I have been contemplating whether the Sasquatch Package is worth it or not.

The new pictures of the 2-Door on the 33s look great, but the moment you see it beside a Sasquatch, it looks small.

Here’s a picture of a Sasquatch in the thanksgiving parade. Just look at the presence it has on the road.

Anyone else having this dilemma?

In the same boat - but sounds like sasquatch might be unavailable forever and delay the build.
I’m already going manual badlands, but I agree. The35’s complete the look
