I'll do two tanks of 87 and one tank of 91 going forward I think. 91 for sure if I'm going long distances. Gas costs seem vomitingly high right now to run premium all the time.

gas prices about to hit an all time high in toronto - i want to vomit looking at the gas station (that is right across from my window at work lol)

there shouldn't be, thats more to do with the quality of the gas (where you buy from) than the octane level

I do the ole 87,87,91 routine in my 2.3.

Gotta be honest, I feel absolutely no difference in day to day driving between the two.


I also never let my tank drop below about 3/8ths, so who knows what octane it really is at this point. Just a smorgasbord of gas octanes.

Realistically always going with regular unless I feel like I'm lacking in power (which I doubt I will).

93 premium every fill up so far in the 2.7. averaging about 18mpg.

I currently do 87 in my explorer but once my Bronco shows up I will be doing 91 until my company catches on

My dealer filled up the tank before I picked it up so I'm still on that. Presumably it's 87. I'll probably try premium on my first fill-up.

I going to do 87 for driving to work and 91 for off road. But we will see if gas prices keep going higher may just need to go with this bronco
