Premium is about 5-7% more. You get better mileage with premium. Do the calc. It can offset the difference. Maybe not 100% but with other benefits for the engine, I think it’s a no brainer and a really maintenance decision. You guys going basic gas or using premium when you fill up?
I have used 87 regular forever and in my last two 2.7s. A fresh tank of premium does make a noticeable difference power wise when in the Bronco (couldn’t tell in my last two F150s) I have used it. That has been when I am going off road and may work it a bit harder. Has plenty of zip for every day driving with 87,You guys going basic gas or using premium when you fill up?
How does the soft top hold up in the cold wintersThis is what our driveway looks like right now. We had the Mach E long before the Wildtrak and yes we are splitting time between the two.
I have had convertibles before and this one is warmer than all of them and the noise is about the same. 1 snowstorm and no snow inside. How does the soft top hold up in the cold winters
This stupid question is getting really old on this site. How does the soft top hold up in the cold winters
IMHO ethanol has no other purpose than to extend the amount of gas used in the states. There's really isn't advantages to it other than that. You will get better gas mileage from ethanol free, but the added cost of straight gas (which I really don't understand) will negate any added mpgs. I figure if the manufacturer says I can run regular ethanol gas, and everything will be fine, that's what I'll run. In my case my butt dyno cannot feel any difference in the power when using 93 octane. But, that may be just me. It's really what someones preference is when it comes to the gas they run.Is ethanol free better or does it matter?
I don’t plan to save a few cents on gas on a $50,000 vehicle.
I plan on premium or ethrnol free if there are any benefits.
