I am a priority 2 at my dealer, priority 1 is saved for emergencies. Not like a priority 2 has helped me, still waiting for a VIN

I was told by both my dealer and a marketing guy at the end of june my Braptor order had been marked priority 1 by ford. Good news though I just got a vin and a sept 5 build date.

Late last week I dropped the Sasquatch package form my Badlands hoping to be pulled into production this go around. If I'm not pulled into production tomorrow, I'm thinking about 99ing until I can covert it to a '23 model. Anyone know if I will lose price protection if I "99" my order?

Priority 1-9 is for Ford corporate only. Your deal may tell you that you are a 2, but unless you have worked through the local Ford rep up the chain to corporate you are not a 2 in Ford's eye. Your DORA will have your actual priority code listed. If you were really a 2, you would be driving your Bronco now.

I contacted my dealer yesterday to inquire about switching my color on my order and was told they were locked out and Ford has my order in Preview. Said I should get a VIN in the next couple weeks. So I should be getting a 2022 correct? Seems like if I don’t have a vin yet there should be more build weeks coming after September.

IIRC 2 was the priority used by the dealers when they were allowed to prioritize a certain number of builds back in the day... seems like years ago.

There are also people who recieved their orders reselling it for profit in a few days. Ford cannot prevent any of that. Check Carvana and you can see many broncos. interestingly, people wrongly expect Ford to be some sort of correction officer for dealers, who are independent businesses

All that I am saying is that before a Bronco gets sold by a dealership with ADM after a customer refused it, if I got offered the build plus a shipping fee . . . I would take it.
