Another comment/issue....I see the AUTOMATIC comes with the sasquatch.....AND it comes with the 2.7 bigger motor..... if you buy BOTH the sasquatch pkg AND larger 2.7 motor....shouldn't you get a discount on one of the pkges? its like your paying TWICE for the automatic transmission...? or am I missing something??? thanks! Bob
It requires the auto. It doesn't include it. The sasquatch will be the same price if it were matched with manual as well.

I read somewhere that you don’t need to. However the hp/tq numbers were based off premium. So like anything else you could probably expect to get lower miles per gallon and performance with 87 octane. I can actually tell the difference in 87 vs 93 in my Audi S3. Runs like shit on 87
It definitely doesn't run like shit on 87. Due to high elevation I have run it at 86 where we live but normally run it on 91 (Premium here). It is about a 15HP swing and unnoticeable to me at least.

Can't remember where I saw it last night on B&P, but did anyone else read that premium fuel is required on the 2.7? Not that I'll be deterred by that, but I've never had to run premium in anything except my '66 Chevelle...LOL
My 2.7 F-150 stated it would make higher hp with 93 but the computer would compensate for 87 with no issues. I always filled with 87 and was pleased with how it ran, even on 35" tires.

It felt like a mistake to me as well, but if it's true I think I'll suck it up and take the auto if it gets me that much of a better engine. It really, really feels like a mistake though.
