Only concern I have is sleeping in the back of the 2-door. I don’t know if it will be practical or possible. Not a dealbreaker but I hate tents. Out here I either sleep on a cot with no tent if the weather is nice, or if it’s not nice I’ll sleep in the back of my vehicle.
I currently have a sleeping platform built in my Pilot that we love, only downside is it doesn't allow use of the rear seats. I assumed with getting a two door we would just buy a tent but now I'm wondering if the seats folded plus the slide out tailgate would give us enough length, that would be amazing

I'll fully admit that I'm not taking my Bronco rock crawling on a regular basis. I do utilize the outdoors quite a bit, and go "off-road" with my Ranger FX4. I have been totaling up what modifications I want to make to a Base. The longer the list gets, the more I feel like I should just abandon my 7 speed 2.3T dreams pf baseness. My wife's MKX has the 2.7TT and I enjoy it immensely. Gotta see that B&P before really making a decision though.
Same. This is probably a vehicle that I’m going to almost certainly have for a long time. Honestly the higher trims really don’t interest me because I want my own kit on it. “built not bought” per se. The only thing I really want on mine is the wash out floors, but I can tear out the carpet if I really wanted.

+1 for this. So much cleaner and less fuckery to just have a clean factory setup. Will be the only option I get other than Sasquatch/V6.
The look super clean and very easy to get to, not placed on the dash in varied spot or up behind the shifter like the Gen1 Rap. A few custom stickers and there you go.

It does. The bottom tier infotainment for bronco is better than the best Wrangler infotainment setup. Ford killed it there.
Infotainment is probably the most important thing for me, other than of course having a fun And interesting vehicle to drive

Personally I can't imagine buying just the base cuz it simple lacks so much in feature like basic rear backup cameras and stuff. However, if it floats your boat...more power to you.

BUT when is comes to Sasquatch, fact check me, but you get...

35" tires
2" lift (on IFS that is a big deal)
Different Suspension components
Rear Locker
Front Locker
Steal Front Diff instead of Aluminum
Different Fender Flairs
And ????

I know folks really seem to want that manual, but ?? Which reminds me, Sasquatch may be a few grand, but you will also have to add in a couple more grand for the auto so from base to Sasquatch = 7-8k maybe.

Have we seen what the Base steering wheel looks like? I noticed in the specs that it lacks leather.

Maybe Bronco can take after the new F150 with its super reclining seats.

I wish base lacked the rear camera, but that required by federal law on all new vehicles.

Really the only big deal with the Sasquatch is the front differential, the rest of it can be done after the factory.
At your estimate of$7-8k it would be significantly cheaper to make your own sas aftermarket. With better gearing, locker style of your choice, and better tires. Personally I find the Goodyear Wranglers to suck.

There’s no way the Sasquatch will cost near 7-8k it’s simply not worth the added expense at that cost.

I thought the rear camera does kick in until the "mid" package?

And my 7-8k is including the Auto Trans. I think Sasquatch will be around 4k hopefully.

You may be thinking front Camera, rear is federal requirement on all new vehicles.

I think the rear camera gets better with mid. It gets gridlines and such.
Ah that may be it... cuz the mid package states...

"Rear View Camera with Backup Assist Grid Lines"

Very misleading or maybe just inaccurate like several things on those spec sheet.

Looks like hip room is 43.3” in the back, and the seat cushion seems to push all the way against the plastic of the sides, so I’d use that for width. Ford lists rear headroom as 39.8 with the hardtop, which I believe is measured from the seat buckle so we can add 4” to that to account for the not-flat seat. Lastly cargo volume is 23.6 cu ft, or 40,780.8 cu in. If I divide that number by the hip room and headroom, I get 23.4”, which seems about accurate based on pics.

My numbers could be absolutely off though so don’t hold me to it too much.

To upgrade this after?
1500 for 5 35" MT tires
1000 for 5 wheels
100 lift
300 bilsteins
1000 for the locking diffs

I'm at 4k, no labor, and this is mostly I know a guy pricing, there's probably new UCAs it will need, nothing for the labor is there oh and rear axles, oh and factory warranty, yeah, if this package is anything under 6 its a steal

the 2.7 is a 1000 upgrade on the F150 form the base motor
the 10 spd is a 1600 upgrade on the Mustang from the manual
