Metra 72-5600? I don’t think that’s the right connector.
You are actually correct. I got that # from this post it isn't the right connector but it worked, updated my post to reflect this (didn't even remember it didn't fit properly, I'm such an airhead, lol)

Does anyone know the actual # so I can update my post?

From the PP5 video it looks like the Factory plug is 3 prong. Both adapters noted. One is 2 and one is 4. So i dont think either mentioned would work plug and play?

The connector I linked does work, it just doesn't fit nicely into the factory harness.

Anyone else planning their audio upgrades yet?

Soon as I get my Bronco, I'm going to pull and measure the speaker mounting dimensions and start planning a build. Maybe someone will get theirs before and can get this info out to the public. One of my concerns is that the 4" speakers in the back just are not big enough to provide enough sound. Especially for the 4 door Broncos. That leaves you to pretty much need bigger housing to fit a bigger speaker. That means giving up some cargo room though and hindering your visibility a bit.

4" speakers should fit in the dash and rear pods and I can get some nice 6.5's for the kick panels.

Currently thinking all Polk Audio for the speakers

DB 402's and 652's for the kick panels.
Can't go wrong with Polk, that was my plan. Thanks for identifying the Polk models you are looking at. My home stereo is a couple of Polk towers with a couple of their beefier bookshelves for surround. No subwoofer required as these put out 20 hz. on the low end.

Subwoofer is always required! Unless those towers have 12" drivers or something.

Nope, under 20hz. has the place shaking. Essentially, it has subwoofer capes as anything under 22hz. is subsonic. It's just Polk. RTi A9. 90db sensitivity, these rock it loudly!

Whats the running guidance on bass blockers on the rear 4" speakers? I have 300Hz bass blockers ready for both front and rear.

I didn't put them on my rears because I can barely hear them to begin with.

The rear speakers are base blocked electronically so you don’t need them. You can disable the base blocking through Forscan.

I have a two door coming. I plan on taking the back seats out and building a fiberglass box for a Kicker L7 in the center and a set of 3 way components on each side. I'll have to actually have it before I can figure out the front.
