I had the shifter cable pop off the transmission in my 93 Bronco at the Taco Bell drive-thru window in college so I was stuck in park. Not only did I get to crawl around on hot asphalt soaked in soybeef grease but my e-brake didn't work so I had to borrow rocks from their landscaping to chock the tires so I didn't run myself over while manually shifting into drive underneath. I'm sure all the cars behind me were annoyed but also enjoyed the entertainment. I believe the modern term for this is FML.I’m sure people could tell tons of stories about weird places they’ve made repairs. I had to do a battery swap in the parking lot of the USS Arizona memorial back in like 1997.
Is it? This is not a widespread issue from what I've seen and folks have been wheeling these things hard for almost a year now. This could be something as simple as the connector at the fuel tank didn't get seated all the way.Yeah, we need to figure out what the easy fix can be, because this is going to happen to most of us that trail these rigs.
