BRONCO 2.7 Stalled and left me Stranded!!!!

Then in its not getting spark or fuel, or you have the valve issue the 2.7L has. Unplug the MAF and see if it starts.

I unplugged the MAG, nothing! Same results

It's a fair reaction in my opinion, people are paying 50-60k+ for this vehicle that's brand new. You expect these types of vehicles to take wear and tear a little more than the average but get the exact opposite after a few thousand miles, tack on the wait time some people have.

Sorry this happened OP, let us know how the dealership/Ford handles it.

Will do, Im just putting this out there so that the Next time you guys decide to take your Broncos on some trails, take a recovery kit. Go prepared that the Bronco might leave you stranded, its happening often right now. Sensors need to be corrected because this will happen to someone else.

Lol!!! It said something like P1006/ fuel pump and the other one It threw I cant remember exactly. I should have taken a picture, but regardless. Have in mind that those fuel pumps cut off, There has to be a simple fix for the future fixing of our vehicles.

Sorry, correction… scanner said Fuel Pump and P0006.

The scanner wouldnt give us a correct code and I had just filled up with 91 octane, Bronco is down right now with a full $120 worth of gas.

You've got my kind of luck. it seems the majority of times I have broken down it was shortly after filling up. Once was in My XJ at the gas pump after having just filled up. The radiator let loose when I went to start it .

Yeah, we need to figure out what the easy fix can be, because this is going to happen to most of us that trail these rigs.

Why would you think that ?
it’s simple possibly abad fuel pump , you need the dealer to fix it and give you the answer . it happens but not to every single bronco

Hello Bronco family, today I took my 22 Wildtrak to some nearby trails and it was doing great until it stalled on an incline and wouldnt start over any more!! It was asking for a “Manual Start”? I couldnt find any where on how to do that. Its an Automatic. I am very disappointed that this happen, I have lost trust in my Bronco to take out again. Smh! What can I do about this? Has anybody had this happen?

To start you can take it in for service, then see what really happened.

I’m sure people could tell tons of stories about weird places they’ve made repairs. I had to do a battery swap in the parking lot of the USS Arizona memorial back in like 1997.

Had to replace the power steering lines on a '77 T-bird on the 4th floor of a Vegas parking garage in 110 degree heat.

The line blew out the night before, spewing ps fluid straight on the headers. Spectacular flames shot out around the fenders. First time I ever had to use the fire extingisher I always mount by the front seat.

just delays getting it fixed and learning what the problem really was?
