Journalism is dead if that qualifies for news, I reference the third bullet point in the article that refers to the Bronco as a crossover for further evidence.
There seems to be a lot of that going around. People comparing the jeep wrangler to a bronco sport, which isnt the competitor vehicle.
As a former Jeep owner of a 2004 Rubicon I purchased new, I’m not surprised at all. For the first Time in a long time real competition has arrived, and they are all wound up. I sold mine after 9 years and 30,000 miles. Every limitation mine had and they still have has been addressed by Bronco. Simple

True. I'm more interested to see how this will force Jeep to be more innovative in the future. Each industry is a copy cat industry and the competition will only improve future models for both companies.
A thread on a forum, about an article on a website, that's based on Facebook groups, by a neutral third party, all of whom are getting their information from said forum, is so meta.
Which is why it should have been its own vehicle name (Maverick). Calling it Bronco Sport is going to cause confusion to a lot of uninformed people. Wait until they start trying to take the doors off.

I don't have any brand biases other than avoiding ones that demonstrate poor reliability in my first hand experience. Everything is clickbait these days. Most of the forums I used to visit are owned by vertical scope now and promote constant posting to generate ad revenue. The forums I like are privately owned and encourage searching. They're also strictly moderated for quality and not quantity.

There is as much buzz about the Bronco in a few Gladiator and Wrangler groups I'm in as well as a Tacoma group as there is in Bronco groups. Even the Grand Cherokee groups are talking. Most of the post in the groups are bash posts. But I love seeing when someone says yup I reserved one.

Too bad the "Colt" name was already used up by Dodge/Plymouth... But heck they haven't used the name since '94, maybe Ford can snag it! I'm also perplexed as to why they chose to include the name "Bronco" for the Bronco Sport. You can still have it be a new 'family' of vehicles... You have the Big daddy 4-door Bronco, the Momma 2-door Bronco, and the Colt! Simple done and done!

Exactly I have been on the JL & Gladiator forums and I believe that they are hoping for the worst from Ford on the Bronco but some have chimed in about how the JT & JL should have addressed the steering weirdness and 3.6 head gasket issues...
But they are excited about the V8 Hemi in the Wrangler...hate to see the $$ on that model

Hey let them say what they want out there, we bash too at times, just not as much because we realize we are also talking to people considering jumping ship. The big difference is, it DOESN'T overtake our Forum. ?
Maybe we could all wave with the ASL sign for F for Ford? It's virtually the ok ? sign and if you want it to mean something else that starts with F that's up to you.
