Bolt on steps $100 ?
Rock Slide $2,300+🤔
Your correct, however, the Rock Slide ones are intended to slide over rocks, the bolt on ones could hang you up in rocks. If your not going to rock crawl, it will not matter, unless the cool factor of the Rock Slide ones wins you over.

If you wheel with the doors off, do those sliders stay down?
:D

Wait, you mean now we have to worry about our doors being stolen?

What's next, are you going to tell me our Roof Panels can be stolen as well?

I want those side steps on the rock rails!
Ive been looking since SEMA. I havent seen anything yet but as the story goes, "Im sure the after market will be all over it once it cones out."

Maybe remove one of the latches and replace it with one of these on each flare.
I think this will be the first thing i do.

on the 2.7 it seems to be tucked up behind the engine by the firewall. That's safe enough for my taste, would be very hard (if not impossible) to cut that out. At least judging from the one photo I saw somewhere on this site. Don't know where it is for the smaller engine.
Both 2.3L and 2.7L have mani-cats directly after the turbo. Does it make it impossible? No, but it makes it such a PITA that it won't be a quick grab-n-go like they're looking for.

I’ve never seen so much concern over something that has yet to happen once. 😂 Nobody cares about your fender flares. Broncos have been traveling all over the country for over a year now and nobody has messed with them yet.
Now they will because you mentioned on here that’s the way people work!

I don't think this is a big issue. Unless someone owns a Bronco, they will probably not know they are even removable. No one has a Bronco, so there will be no black market for hot fender flares.

People why worry, what are you going to do when you park at the beach with the top off? I have had a few convertibles in my day and most people won't even look inside you're car with the top off. Fender flares stolen I would worry about the cooler in the back first.

Take one off each unguarded Bronco you see that way you'll have a spare if you need it.
Maybe instead of the Jeep wave this can be our Bronco thing. Someone steals mine, I steal someone else's, they take LowCountry's, etc. One big happy Eskimo Brother (flares only folks!!!!) Bronco family.

We can tag ours like the dollar bills that were going around and setup www.wheresmyflares.com to track em. Bingo. Profit!

I doubt many want a cheap set of flares that only fit a Bronco. You should be worrying about your expensive catalytic converter. Just as easy to steal as the flares and very expensive to replace.
