Sorry to hear that. Personally I would any dealer who participates in ADM. Are there other, hopefully better, dealers in the area?
No. Every dealership in north Texas is charging ADM

Ford needs to find you a comparable 2022 and sell it to you at MSRP…..
I would expect nothing less. That’s absolute horseshit that the best they can do is reorder a 2023.

What dealer in north Texas?

I've got my order through Sam Pack in Lewisville.
Town East Ford. They are selling orders placed last year for MSRP, but anything new with $25k+ ADM. Most of the NTX dealerships sell orders at MSRP, but vehicles on the lot come with a big ADM.

I know a dealership in Central MN selling a silver OuterBanks soft top at MSRP right now... Silver, 2.7, Mid package, Leather(grey/blue), soft top, factory winch, light bar etc. It was their mannequin so it has a few miles on it but yeah

Thanks man. At this point, I’m just not a fan of Ford. If I get a Bronco, I’ll want my exact build preferences. I’ve waited long enough.

I understand, just throwing it out there. If mine wasn't so close to being here(currently in transit from Chicago to MN) i would have bought it but i had a VIN pretty soon after my order so i waited it out.

There are quite a few federal NHTSA regulations about a vehicle having to be scrapped if it's damaged to a certain extent while in transit. So if this was indeed damaged to meet those regs, there's nothing FoMoCo could do but scrap it. This part seems entirely reasonable and to be expected.

It does go pear shaped when they tell you that you can't get a replacement unit built in MY22.

Obviously these are unprecedented times in globally sourced JIT mass manufacturing. However, there should always be some limited capacity at the factory for "make it right" situations such as these damaged-in-transport situations.

If this were my situation then my interaction with the dealership would be over as they are not the proper channel to go through for a replacement unit. I would be requesting the regional managers contact info from Ford's 1-800-334-4375 Bronco specialist line and go that route up the chain of command until it gets the clearance to be slotted in for production.

I've read some members report there are some dealers in DFW that have been selling at MSRP (usually to reservation holders but thought I read some who walked in). You might talk with some of them and explain what happened to your order. It's probably a long shot, but even if another dealer says it's upcharging for on-the-lot vehicles, that dealer might jump at the opportunity to get a customer away from another DFW dealer and build good will.
Some you might look at:
Park Cities Ford (Planet Ford) in Dallas - they seem to have a lot of Broncos on their lot all the time
Five Star Ford in North Richland Hills
Five Star Ford in Carrollton (not sure)
Grapevine Ford
Covert Ford in Austin

Stay away from Westway Ford in Irving - saw a thread where they screwed over a forum member

EDIT: You might involve the Regional Ford rep for the dealership you ordered from to see if he can help get you one on the lot for MSRP from Town East or other. Your situation really calls out for a little help from the Ford regional managers. Also, nicely reach out to Mike Levine on Twitter...he has been known to help, especially when someone doesn't scorch him first.

Not entirely true....check out Five Star Ford in North Richland Hills. I bought my Wildtrak from Robert Wheat and it was MSRP with some dealer addons. I can't say that they other vehicles on the lot for MSRP, but no reason not to look.
