That finished product from the top looks beautiful... You could definitely sell those if the rest of the unseen build is to that quality.

Just this past couple of weeks I've been going back and forth between buying a goose gear or making my own. In a YT video on how to install the goose gear platform they showed both sides and I could definitely see this was probably not worth paying over $600 for unless you just don't have the time but you have the money.

I like that you made it a raised platform enabling more storage.

Quick question.....would you mind either posting pictures or explaining how you fit out the part where the front seats were, to make it level? Just trying to get an idea of what I'd be getting into in that part of the build.

Again looks awesome.

Beautiful craftsmanship!! Makes me realize how stupidly overpriced goose gear is. You just proved something just as good if not better can be had for far less coin.

This is better than Goose Gear. This looks lower?

I always thought the drawer for Goose Gear made the platform too tall so you could not sit up in the back.

Thanks. The base is 2 by or 1 by wide.

I really like this idea, I just have to convince myself to take the seats out, and what to do with them.

Thanks again
Just put them on a shelf in your garage like I did. Looks great by the way.

This level of work and final product deserves not only a huge "thumbs up" but a thorough explanation of steps, measurements, links to products.
Excellent.
Curious-where did the two diamond-plate pieces go, and what are they/where to source?
Again, great job with the fit and finish, and extra kudos for tight lines along the contours.
Definitely not something that looks rushed or half-thought out.
Yeah, it was very time consuming to get everything to fit and follow the contours of the interior panels. The Diamond plate pieces are for the door sills on my 90 F250.

The supports are 2x4’s and the back piece is a 1x4
