I would be fine with a Ranger that had the Bronco front end. That would be a practical small pickup.

Gladiator had huge demand when they first came out, with people paying significant ADM.
After about 2 1/2 years the demand fell pretty markedly. Even then, it's not a huge seller. 40k in 2019, and 80k each in 2020 and 2021.

Those are solid sales numbers, but not outstanding.

I'd gladly trade my 2-door for a short cab Bronco Pickup though. Build it on the 4-door frame, give me a simple open bed, and the same long doors as the 2-door. Stick-shift of course.

None of these silly crew cab pickups will fit in my garage.
I think right now the Gladiator is a great buy since you can basically have your pick at or below MSRP. Its a solid off road vehicle. You do need to be careful with choosing the right color and top combination since some look goofy.

I had a Mojave Gladiator. Honestly only reason I got it was because of needing something while waiting for Raptor. (At that point I already had expected on a 24/25 Bronco).

I liked it, the bed was handy. But overall itā€™s a small market that would want all that it has to offer. Every midsize truck get better mpg and more practical.
I hope Ford donā€™t come out with a Bronco variant. Itā€™s already bad enough that the Bronco Sport exists.

Sure if you want to drop 51k for a base Rubicon, you can get up to 7,000lbs. But can get a nice Ranger for 27k or an F-150 for 33k and they'll both out tow the Gladiator.
Been looking at used Rangers for my son. There's no way you can get a decent 4wd one for less than $30k now. If talking new the only ones at that price are base model 2wd.

Iā€™m sorry Ford made you buy a Bronco Sport against your will.
