Has anyone experimented with firming up the ride of their Sasquatch via suspension, wheel setup, or both? I don’t plan to do any extreme crawling, hit rough roads like 15 days year, nothing that needs much articulation, and mostly got the Sasquatch for clearance for flooding in my area. But I do have some windy highways that I find myself avoiding because of the Sasquatch’s lean on curves.

Do you have the OE rear sway bar? Most sasquatches do, but Ford was omitting them on some builds.

I believe the OE rear sway bar is only applicable to 4-door models.

Good question. I think my blend date was March ‘22 and I remember reading that earlier ’22 builds don’t have that.

Ahh if that is the case, then the OP just needs to add the rear sway bar and the problem is fixed. Let me edit this post in a minute with the part numbers.

But OP needs to visually check and check that he has the mounts to accept a sway, early Broncos did not.

Part NumberPart NamePriceQuantityTotal
NB3Z-5A772-AStabilizer Bar$100.421$100.42
NB3Z-5C486-BStabilizer Link$59.122$118.24
W712045-S439Stabilizer Clamp Bolt Plate$3.054$12.20
W712334-S440Upper Mount Nut$0.564$2.24
W721710-S450Stabilizer Clamp Nut$4.274$17.08
W712503-S440Stabilizer Link Nut$6.714$26.84

I ordered from Levittown Ford. I know Ruxer is good too. The Honey plugin gives me 50% off shipping at Levittown.

EDIT: If the OP does not have the mounts, the Belltech sway bar works.

Thank you! Bronco is currently in the shop for the transmission rattle but I’ll do a visual check once I get it back. Just to be clear, you tried this on a 2 door Sasquatch and it helped reduce roll?

And I think that the Sasquatch suspension in the 2-door is entirely too stiff especially in the rear.

I’m getting a lot of leaning on the highway. It is a little rough over bumps but that doesn’t bother me at all, my wife on the other hand would like something that rides like a Lincoln town car 😆 but despite that she loves the bronco

Good to know. I’m hoping the sway bar will reduce roll without adding too much harshness

The Hellwig bar uses the oem body mounts and is listed for the 2022 and later Broncos. They would likely work with late 2021 as well. 2021 Job 1 Broncos will need the Belltech antisway bar which have their own mounts that bolt to the body.

Interesting............I notice my 2 door leans a lot on any turns. I'll have to see if it has a sway bar in the back. Nice to know it can be added if the tabs are there.

I searched the forum about the Hellwig bar after seeing an ad about it and couldn’t find any user experience about it, but I was curious about that too
