So who's willing to compile all this data and see if there's hot zones, a la the 2.7 valves?

I think the difference here is as far as we can tell, the majority of 7MT owners hear the issue. I’d be surprised if there’s a couple week range of increased probability like the 2.7L valves had. But even so, do transmissions have Julian dates we can easily access?

Maybe it is inevitable and we'll all get it in time. I notice the TSB only said 21-22 yet there's at least one 23 owner that chimed in already.

No noise on my 2022 with 10/22 Build. I payed extra close attention and can't hear anything.
Didn't Ford learn their lesson with the Mustang. They need to stick with Tremec.

Your sticker and transmission being dirtier then mine tells me I need to get off the pavement. Haha

12K miles. Incl. one 6K cross country trip and rock / trail idling. VA garage kept.

The GOOD news here is we don’t have brittle valves. The Ford planners wanted to spread the wealth so you can only get a bad trans or bad engine, but generally not both. The 2.3 automatic guys are probably just sweating it out waiting for their special gift.

Officially changed my vote. I just cold started and left the door open so I could hear well. Ambient temp 40F and it hasn't run in about 24 hours. There's a clear grinding/rumbling/scraping that goes away if I push in the clutch or move the shifter all the way to the right.

Currently at 8800 miles and I would say I first noticed something at about 8500.
