No Kids, 2door
2dr and MT is why I’m here. Would be less interested if I had to get a 4dr or auto, but would be a definite no to both. I’d even take a 2dr on the 4dr chassis like an old Scout.
2door on the 4door chasis ... Now Im with that!

I don't get the fridge part. If I'm out that long, I'm either killing something or I'll just have a case of water and a case of MREs.

If you want your own door, buy your own Bronco.

A) I don't like warm beer, and I like ice in my whisky.

b) I caught that too....just hadn't come up with a witty response to it.

I didn't stutter...??.

We're a polyam family. The three of us adults, our combined 7 kids, 4 dogs, 4 cats, a snake and a bearded dragon. It's never boring around our place.
I'm sorry man. If you need to escape, blink twice.

I'm in the same boat... this whole time I've been thinking about the 2 door - but I'm starting to consider the 4 door just for storage space... I'm sure the 4 door will be just as capable for the type of offroading I'll be doing... but I am curious how much worse the fuel mileage might be in the 4 door vs 2 door...

I would jump on the 4dr bandwagon...IF...it could tow anything besides a utility trailer with a push lawnmower on it.

The honest truth is that even though the 2dr has rear seats, they are for the most part too difficult to access to be useful. They are pretty much reserved for occasionally carrying passengers in a pinch, not for someone who might actually need more than two people to ride in their vehicle. I want to be able to carry stuff and people on fun adventures - and the 2dr just isn't big enough.

I still think that many people who get the 2dr because of the "cool" factor of it being similar to classic Broncos will be disappointed with it's limitations after a while - just like many of us who get the manual transmission will be.

I agree with those with a family who get the 2 door will be disappointed, but I doubt many of the manual takers will be. Sure, a few will get it on a whim and regret it later, but for a lot of us it's manual or nothing. The only way I'd be disappointed is if it's a complete lemon.

Oh, my 2dr is for 2 up only. The rear seats will be taken out quickly as all they do is take up room.

Have you seen any videos yet of passengers entering/exiting the two door Bronco? That is one thing I would like to find out - how well has Ford accommodated the in/out of back seat passengers.

So far haven't seen much about it. Agreed it will not be nearly as easy as 4-door. But some vehicles are better than others. Hoping Ford was smart with the front seat tilt/slide design and longer doors of the 2-door model.

I haven't yet - but I doubt there will be a tip/slide front seat to make it easier. Also, the ride/entry height will make it difficult to get back there for anyone even if it does have something like that. If this were a car or even an SUV of more traditional proportions it might be OK, but getting in/out of the back of a 2dr Sasquatch will be a nightmare no matter what. Unless you put some ugly side bars with steps on it...
