Right here.

I’m hoping that’s an off-road “Sport” mode, and doesn’t take the place of an on-road one such as is in my 2013 Escape.
I believe Baja is the offroad version of sport mode.

Am I the only one that thinks that sport mode is that big of a deal to cause them to change their trim level.
And this is why I have never owned an automatic, even though the ten speed shifts faster and has more gears. I just like making the decisions myself, and don’t need to turn a knob whether to optimize performance or economy. The newer automatics are awesome transmissions, probably better than the manuals, but I just don’t like automatics. My wife hates them as well. No problem with people that choose them for their technical prowess.

Will it really keep the other settings and let you change out of 4WD?
In 2019 Raptor, you can select 2H or 4H in Baja Mode. 4A is not available.

Raptor "feels" powerful in Baja mode (maintains 3K-4K RPMs, waits way too long to shift, and spins rear tires easily since traction control is partially disabled), but it is actually a relatively low performing mode when used on street in 2H. Mostly for offroad fun.

The Sport 2H/4A mode is also performance theater. Super fun in a GT500, but constant high RPMs is annoying in a truck. Performance tune for Normal 4A is best in my opinion, but what do I know - I'm a fan of V8s.

Should this go in the stupid question thread...? Lol
Sport mode is just remapping throttle pedal position to throttle plate opening. All Ford's are throttle by wire these days. Making it "feel" faster...doesnt make more power.... AT ALL

It also remaps shift points and can make the 10A feel *slightly* less retarded. Only slightly though, as the 10A is a hot dumpster fire.

THIS. Just get the Black Diamond. It has sport, rock crawl, rubber floors, aux switches, and vinyl seats.
True - unless you also want the sound system - which you can only get with lux. 20 years ago I may have been more inclined to say screw it I can build a better sound system myself, but with all the integration into the Nav screen now - I don't have the time, energy or patience to sort all that out - the Lux option is a must have for me.

I have an F150 that has the sport mode. Never need to use it but every now and then I select sport mode when I have a chaw in and wearing a camo hat.
Definitely perks up the shift points, but really not needed.

Maybe it's a Ford thing but I have a sports mode in my Foreign car and it is a world of difference... changes shift point, fuel mappings, timing, and throttle. It's practically like having a tune you can turn on and off.

I would hope that Ford does more than just shift and throttle.

My truck has the sports mode I literally never use it. It's fun to use but don't really need it and certainly would not let it in sports mouse all the time.

Same

I have experience with sports mode in 2 different vehicles
A 2011 kia optima and a 2019 BMW x3

In the former I feel the difference but leave it off and stick to eco mode because I care about the gas mileage. Its my to and fro vehicle and I don't wanna push it too much as I'm trading it in for the Bronco

The BMW which is my fiances has a sport mode so good that I won't drive her car without it. It just feels like a car with 50 more hp.

I think switching to a Squached Black Diamond is a better choice than Wildtrack. Still comes with the MGV and wash out floors and sport mode.
To anyone making decisions on which type to get, with Forscan you can add all modes. The decision should be based on mechanical options like sway bar disconnect.

I’ve seen videos that useForscan to get the other GOAT modes not on your vehicle. So you can add sport mode I think.
