I have the option to buy a badlands with the 7 speed. Question is, with all the problems people are having with the manual trans, do I get it or keep looking for an auto? How wide spread is the issue?

I wouldn’t change my decision, it’s a blast. She’s grumbly on the winter starts, but who isn’t.

Mines Noisy, But still works fine at 26,000 Miles... Definitely wouldn't trade it for an auto.
As much as I love standard shifting. The ease of the auto in the woods, for me is so much nicer than clutch foot.

Manual was one of my main drivers behind getting my Bronco. No noise, wouldn't trade it for anything. After 11 months I still smile everytime I get to drive it everyday.

100% yes I would still buy a manual. Taken mine off road several times now and always brings a smile to my face and performs flawlessly

Yes, but I'm still waiting on my 7MT Badlands...
Would not change a thing about this Bronco, except for the scraping noise. Row your own gears, dammit. Ford will (eventually) figure their shit out.
