I've always been a fan of the Land Cruisers, and am glad they are coming back to the US market. I'll be interested to see the new one in person. It looks pretty strong, overall. Maybe I can eventually talk my wife into getting one if she ever gets tired of her Maverick.

While I really like the Land Cruiser, I am still in love with my Bronco. There's nothing out there that would pull me away from my Wildtrak. But if I didn't want a removable top and doors, the Land Cruiser would be a strong option.

I'm hoping they do well.

I don't see this as one or the other. 2 door Bronco with rear seats removed for my true off road vehicle and the 1958 for the grandkid or wife hauler. We make plenty of family winter trips and the LC would handle that great without the need for real off roading.

I put a pre order in for a Land Cruiser this morning. My Bronco already has 45k on it. So it will be traded regardless next year. To build my same bronco again is $70k which seems insane to me.

Its a PRADO - it needs Prado badging, or its misleading and lets dealers have people think its similar to the real deal 300 - which allows them to jack prices on a Prado to near 300 levels

I’m a Toyota fan … 22re Pickup, 1991 4Runner, Corolla, RAV4 lol, 18 Camry Hybrid ….but unless this came with removable top, 2 doors and Manual, it’s no replacement for my Bronco

I could see adding one of these to our fleet. The tow capacity of 6K is much better than the Bronco. My wife’s 2021 Tacoma has been flawless.

Competition is good. I am all for it, makes everyone try harder, which is good for consumers.

This is a Lexus. Not a Bronco SAS competitor. Look at the clearance, approach a departure angles, etc. It would be a nice upgrade from 4Runner though, especially hybrid.

Someone on the "I hate mud" LC forum took the LC drawing and showed what a lift with 35" tires would look like. It's gives you approach and departure angles that exceed what 95% of buyers would ever need. Even stock, the approach and departure angles exceed what 90% of buyers would ever consider using.

My wife has a deposit on a new GX, so we love the styling and the brand. I can see myself handing down my '21 to my son in a couple of years and getting the LC. I think they are going to kill it with their whole lineup when the 4 Runner comes out. Lots of fresh products. Lots to like about Toyota right now. Until then, I am enjoying Bronco.
