Maybe it's just me, but it seems a more elegant solution would be for the mirror to utilize the existing Bronco cameras. If this mirror could could tap into those video feeds, it would be a simpler solution.
But the stock camera looks like a 90s webcam.

I finished my install last night but now I'm getting a 'park aid fault' warning on startup. Has anybody else had this?
I did not. I recommend checking your fuses and make sure they are seated properly. This may be dumb question, but you did put the old fuses in the lower slot on the taps?

Anyone have a ballpark cost of buying one including installation at a good shop?

here you go. I haven’t had any issues with the mirror losing the date settings. As you can see the fuses are facing each other the top one is the constant and the bottom is the switched

Does this void any warranty?

I have this and it’s great, color is a little purplish? I have the factory gm version in my Escalade and it’s crystal clear. Hopefully better quality ones come out in future

I just install it and also is resetting the date to 2020 every time its turn on. Also it is defaulting to the dash camera every time the vehicle is turn on, is this normal? Since this is a rear view mirror I'm expecting to default to the rear view camera.

Make certain you are using both fuse taps and have them in the correct locations. One is an always on 12v that keeps settings and allows for recording when the mirror detects a disturbance.

Mine doesn’t reset to date..

But the picture quality is marred by the mirror image being combined with the camera.

Have the gm factory one in another car and it’s spectacular!

I have mine angled up towards the roof a bit. The image is still crisp and clear, but I don't have to deal with the mirror reflection.

I already check it and they are in the correct locations, also I checked the power with a multimeter and they have power.
What about the default camera, What are people getting when turning on the vehicle? Mine is defaulting to the front camera.

If you haven't yet, connect the multimeter to the always on 12v and place it somewhere you can see it from outside the Bronco. Close and lock the doors, wait 30 minutes. Then, without unlocking or opening the doors, check the meter to make certain that wire is still providing at least 12v.

Mine defaults to whichever camera I was last viewing. I'm guessing yours is defaulting to the front camera because it's not saving your settings.
