It was SHOP524 Not sure if it is still working, there was also a 15% one. It's on page 3.I missed something. What code was used to get 20% off?.....thanks
Doubtful. In this day and age of cost cutting, it would seem highly improbable that Dana would have designed the casting and machine work needed for convenience. Especially since the OEM cover is also designed by Dana with a single plug cover.I believe this is the correct answer for the 2 hole question
Amazon -1 gal Valvoline 75W-140 Full Synthetic to do both ft and rr diffs - $59.50QQ Where is the best place to get the non-Ford branded oil?
Beautiful Thank you. But 140 and not 85? Help me understand why?Amazon -1 gal Valvoline 75W-140 Full Synthetic to do both ft and rr diffs - $59.50
Read CarbonSteel's most excellent thread on diff fluids... Short answer it's Dana's specification - which is good enough for me.Beautiful Thank you. But 140 and not 85? Help me understand why?
Thanks. No way to install a front cover on a Bronco.
EDIT - but the housing is cast iron so it is as strong if not stronger than a cover--i.e. no cover needed.
20% worked for me! Thank you!https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-4033-BR
Use promo code REDEEM524 (expires on 05/31) for a 15% discount (SHOP524 **may** give you 20% off).
I would use a third-party oil versus buying Ford branded--there is nothing special about it except for the high price.
Don’t think so, but there’s plenty already. Easy drain/fill is a huge advantage. So aside from the advantage of the magnet drain plug, does this cover add any diff fluid capacity?
Curious as to what vehicle has a M220 axle in a reverse pinion orientation.Different cover, but the explanation is the most logical.
PML Dana 25, 27, 30 Differential Cover (yourcovers.com)
The design of the PML Dana 25, 27, 30 differential cover works with a variety of applications.
Benefits:
- Two fill/level check holes at proper levels to accommodate reverse or high pinion models
- Fins and cast aluminum construction for cooling
- Thick walls
- Drain hole and magnetic plug to simplify maintenance
- Follows stock cover profile to maintain clearance on most vehicles
Front drive with high pinion.........................the Chevy Colorado used it.Curious as to what vehicle has a M220 axle in a reverse pinion orientation.
But is it a Dana M220? Color me doubtful.Front drive with high pinion.........................the Chevy Colorado used it.
From what I understand they used the 200 and 220 but you are correct, they were the legacy diffs. Is it the same as the 210 cover that the Wrangler uses for the front? They are both 12 bolt but I'm not sure of a difference. But is it a Dana M220? Color me doubtful.
Most all 4x4 have high pinions in the front, but they are not M220 axles. The cover bolt pattern between a "legacy" Dana 44 and a Dana 44 Advantek (M220) is not the same.
