I didn't screen shot the whole TSB. The parts list is on thereSo wait — the TSB calls for replacing the synchros, but doesn’t list updated part numbers. That feels like the scraping may just come back after a hundred miles or so.

hell yeah early Christmas!! Ford got me new synchros woohoo!I didn't screen shot the whole TSB. The parts list is on there
The whole transmission will be apart and cleaned out.I would still he concerned about the damage already done. After not even 2500 miles my fluid was really dark and gross. That's metal shavings likely from the gears crunching a bit
Any chance you could upload the full document? Can't find this TSB anywhere just yet since it looks like it was only released 2 days ago.I didn't screen shot the whole TSB. The parts list is on there

The syncros are brass from what I've read. So I could see that rubbing fine particles into fluI would still he concerned about the damage already done. After not even 2500 miles my fluid was really dark and gross. That's metal shavings likely from the gears crunching a bit
Thanks this worksI have no good way of uploading it, but here is a screenshot of the whole TSB
Those are different synchronizers for different gears. The 7107–C for 5th/6th gear that the TSB is replacing doesn’t look to be updated at all.I did a bit of digging around in the ford parts catalog out of curiosity. I'm not very familiar with Ford's part numbering system so this could be wrong, but to me it appears that the 5/6th sychro part number on the TSB (MU7Z-7107-C) is possibly an updated version to what is currently listed on the ford parts website as MU7Z-7107-A.
You can reference this TSB and explain that your bronco has the same symptoms, but they’re still going to have to verify it before any repairs.Mine makes the same noise when its under 40 degrees outside
Then goes away when it gets warmer
Do we just call the dealer and give them the tsb number, to schedule the fix?
That's What I did. I gave them the TSB number. It was just in two weeks ago for the noise. And called them back with a VM and the TSB number. Waiting to hear back.Mine makes the same noise when its under 40 degrees outside
