I posted about this before, but has anyone else that's taken delivery noticed a very loud whistle noise coming from the drivers side mirror?

My Bronco is a Black Diamond four door with the MIC top. The whistle is loud. Loud enough that it's disturbing when the top is on and the windows up. With the top off and the windows down, you need to fold the mirror in if you want to hear the radio clearly or have a conversation with anyone in the vehicle.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, if you place your hand on the bottom right corner of the mirror housing the whistling stops.

Has anyone else that's experienced the issue experimented with a fix? Maybe foam behind the mirror?

I'll try to get a video tonight so others can hear/see what I'm experiencing. I really like my Bronco and I know there will be a fix for the whistle soon enough, but I'd like to hear from others that have the same issue.
@Ford Motor Company, has this issue been logged?
Thanks

If it's the plastic gap, I'd get some clear silicon and fill the gap around the mirror. I've seen vortex generators on side mirrors somewhere. Can't have laminar flow over holes and gaps without some noise.

The temporary mirror on my 2015 wrangler I use when the doors are off has red duck tape on it to prevent the same whistle on the edge at highway speeds.
I bet mud filling the gap will work also...lol

It a bonus GOAT mode called Kamakasi. You enter it by pushing up, up, back, back, left, down on the steering wheel. You will be invencible when activated. Try it out!

Thanks.
thats tough. Can’t imagine losing more than 1.
The whistle should be fixed by filling that seam with some RTV. It that seems is where it’s coming from.
Sorry to hear. I lost my 13 yr old frenchie a month ago.

Still have the blue pit puppy in my av lol

I took delivery of my FE today and no whistling. It has the cameras and lights in the mirror.

Test drove a mid package SAS Big Bend on Saturday. It had a whistle, no cameras or lights.

Coincidencd?

Please start a formal ticket with your dealer. Ford needs to hear this LOUD & CLEAR.

I’d rather walk than drive a whistle

If the tape works, I'll just wrap the mirrors in 3M vinyl. Small enough job that I should be able to pull off without yanking out to much hair.
I thought you can’t wrap the mic material, at telecast that is what my wrap guy said
