Bronco family, I received a text from my local dealer stating that there is a software recall that needs to be addressed on my 2022 Outerbanks. I do have auto update selected in my settings so I'm not sure what the software update would be. Does anyone have some info regarding the recall? Thanks!

Not all updates can be done OTA. Some still require a visit to the dealer.

What did the dealer say when you asked them?

Probably the wiper motor software up. Had mine done last month. They had to use the magic box like previously noted. Took 10 minutes. They lowered the panel under steering wheel and plugged in the box
Ford sent the tech to my house

Wiper motor software. Got the call from my dealer last week about it and had it scheduled to be fixed today (remotely in my driveway).

Hardtop wiper? You all seem to have hardtops and I haven’t heard about this with my soft top 22obx

Hardtop or softtop does not matter. It's your main wipers. Read the thread linked with the service info. Includes every Bronco built until March 17, 2023.

Yep wiper motor. Had mine done last month, only took the dealer NINE hours, good thing I got it there at 8am đź‘ż

There was also another one for rear camera but I’m not sure what that was.

Thanks for all of the feedback! I'll be scheduling the update to be completed at the house. I'll update the chat if anything weird comes up. Thanks again...

The dealership sent out a mobile tech and did my 22 Badlands (Soft Top) in my garage about 3 weeks ago. Definitely makes the wiper speeds better.

Just had mine in for regular maintenance and asked the dealer to address any open recalls. One was the wiper motor and another was a software update to address issues with the rearview camera I believe. I'll be going back because they were missing parts for the wiper motor issue, but also claimed the other software update could not be addressed due to "not enough time or gas because the update can take up to 4 hours to complete and 2 hours of idle time." Wut?
