All this points to is the trans wasn’t built strong enough for anything beyond what the i4 and tame driving can do to it.

big tires soft suspension lockers front and back? sounds like the manual trans is the weak link. Super unfortunate. Understandable, since mt’s don’t really sell, but unfortunate nonetheless.

we got mildly duped. Hopefully the base with lockers, lift and 33’s will suffice for now.

Mike is actually responding to some of the replies on his Twitter. And kudos to you guys for inquiring respectfully. I think Ford will make changes to this before launch

I really hope so I absolutely love the new bronco there just seems to be a couple no brainers things they may have overlooked the good thing is they have plenty of time to remedy them before the vehicle comes to market

Correct me if I'm wrong, but packages are nothing more than a convenient manner of grouping commonly-paired individual options (and sometimes at a discount). Do we know for a fact that we cannot order individual options a la carte (dependencies considered, like sunroof on a soft top)? In the past, a crafty person behind the dealer's ordering system has been able to come up with some great combinations. Do we know this is completely ruled out by the offering of packages, and it is legitimately time to freak out, or is there the possibility that we can still build largely what we want code-by-code (excepting certain restrictions, like the manual and 2.7)?
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Some items may be available individually, but many times they'll just do a bundle to help keep build combinations down.

The unfortunate reality is that until we see the order guide, we really won't know for sure.

Someone needs to ask him specifically about the white top then.

To add

-The brown/black 2 tone interior is not available on any trim. It was a one-off for the reveal
-No information on white top anywhere. Was that a one off for the reveal also??

If so they showed us 2 bronco's that we cannot get.
Agree, that makes no sense to show a beautiful interior on your website then say it's a one off and you can't get it. Like taking kids to a candy store then telling them can't have any. Don't show us what we can't have show us what we can have.

Doesn't bother me much. Was hoping for 3.5 Ecoboost, but I'll survive with 10spd and 2.7.

Wildtrak has everything I need to offroading and camping. Swaybar disco I'm sure will be an option so no worry there either way.

More like taking kids to candy store, then telling them all they get is green beans and cauliflower.

I mean really. That black/brown interior has me salivating.

But NOOOOOPE.

I think some concerns are valid, but others not so much. True 'off-road' enthusiasts make such a small percentage of buyers these big manufacturers don't seem to care. Sure on a large site like this you have a lot of manual buyers, but on the JL Forums, very few manual owners 2 years after launch...

Furthermore, the 2.3L 4 is tremendously powerful in it's own right....
