Hidden kill switches to the fuel pump fuse are easier to install than people imagine. I have this on all my cars, even modern ones and reco it to people asking about this.

If you have aux switches, there's been some chatter on how to make one of the aux switches (or a combination of aux switches) into a kill switch. Not sure where that ended up, but there was a thread on it if you search.

Here’s you a quick 5 second way to disable your truck from the comfort of you driver seat with no modifications…take a paper clip, jump the hscan+ Terminal on your obd2 connector to ground. With the can network shorted to ground it’s never gonna start, since the BCM talks to the PCM on the network. The pcm sends the start request to the bcm to crank.

The best theft deterrent system is called the 7 speed manual transmission.
