13 years ago I built a 1993 Ford Thunderbird Supercoupe with a built 3.8 l motor with a 2 liter screw blower, 80lb/hr injectors, lots of power, lots of torque, koni adjustable shocks, eibach springs (5 speed manual) and I took it drag racing and auto crossing. I would drive it there and drive it home. So much fun was had. I learned a ton tuning the engine controls myself. It's not around anymore. Hit a big rock and cracked the oil pan. Was getting ready to fix a fueling issue (needed bigger fuel lines and pump, running out of fuel at 6000 rpm and 12psi of boost) then I became a grandfather, and didn't have time for it anymore.
We'll see how much fun my Bronco brings me this summer once I have the skidplates and some recovery gear. I now have 4 grandsons and the youngest who is 3, is very into my bronco. We'll hit some trails together next spring.
