Have you by chance reached out to Mike Levine? If not, I'd try him. This seems like the type of thing Ford wouldn't want news of spreading..

Insane to me that this situation is happening to someone who waited over a year for a brand new vehicle and they don't even provide a loaner.
I haven't contacted Mike Levine...yet. That will be next on my list.

I ran into a salesperson from my local dealership just last night. I told him that I had bought a Bronco a few months ago (end of July). Then I told him it's still at his dealership in the service bay. Some dark humor on my part. He was like, "oh, yeah, I've heard all about your Bronco." And I'm sure he has. Part of me wants to make THE BIGGEST DEAL out of what is happening and what is not happening with this vehicle, but I don't want to throw my small town dealer under the bus. I know a lot of stuff is out of their hands with getting it fixed and even having to source a loaner car (which they did finally offer after a month, but I'd procured a borrowed vehicle).

Anyway, the whole situation stinks. I had read in one of the groups on Facebook about how a guy's wife was driving on the expressway and her Bronco died (another dropped valve issue), which was really scary for her. I'd hope @Ford Motor Company would jump on the ball and identify/contact owners A.S.A.P., as it could be a safety issue.

I think you could make a big deal about it without dragging down the dealer if you feel they've done everything they possibly could, but this type of thing should definitely be on the radar of Mike Levine.

This definitely sucks though, sorry you're having to deal with all of this.

Thanks! I'll see what Mike can do.

April only dont know number of engines but anything before or after are fine. Mine is February and approaching that mileage so will keep u posted. Once again it was supplier issue not ford valves were same as other months and are always tested out of a new batch before install but something in the composition become brittle from the heat over time and only batch in april

This is a feature, not a bug. The computer disables the engine when it detects the owner referring to the Bronco as ā€œher.ā€

Kidding aside, this is one of the worst new Bronco stories Iā€™ve heard. I hope they give you a new one entirely.

I was a 7/14 blend also with a 2.7 so Iā€™m interested in what you find out about yours.
Well my motor was built June 29th and transmission was born July 29th. I am an 08/05 blend

So if there holding the 2.7 for 2022 to start than there must still be issues with it I have a build week of 11/22 now Iā€™m worried

Butā€¦she is a ā€œherā€ ā€˜cause Iā€™m a ā€œher.ā€ šŸ˜‰

The Ford customer service rep I talked to on Monday was creating a new case with RAV specialist (they either buyback the Bronco or replace with ā€œlikeā€ model). She wouldnā€™t guarantee me a new Bronco, but I tired. Lol

Or they have other constraints limiting 2.7 Production. The word was only a batch of engines manufactured in April were problematic, so if you don't have an April engine, you're probably ok. My 08/05 Blend has a motor from June 29 and a transmission from July 29. I am betting that the vast majority of April 2.7's are in Broncos produced from early to mid june.
