has anyone seen how they attach to the control arm ? they look similar to 6112 bilsteins for the F150 and those have an adjustable spring seat
Here you go, but the if there are snap ring adjustments they do not show.

Here is a side by side view of the two different style reservoir mounts that @Pittguy was able to get photos of. Best guess these were early Engineering Development units used in test when they were trying to determine the best configuration.

Nice digging! What do we think, same shock different spring/perch? Or same shock same spring with just a different perch?

They look like they are mounted in the same location but the reservoir is just inverted. These remind me a lot of the 5150's they use to make & were a great shock although the internals are different.
Have these on my 4runner, rides beautifully!
Although, after ten Years of road salt and off road use, the shaft on one just snapped last week.

In reviewing the photos again I see we do actually have two confirmed sets of part numbers now.

The first set of part numbers are from @618TRVLWILD
Bilstien P/N: F4-BE5-M970-W6
Ford P/N: MB3C-18080-ARJ
TBD P/N: 202660079

The second set of part numbers are from @Pittguy, note the differences from above:
Bilstien P/N: F4-BE5-M968-W7
Ford P/N: MB3C-18045-ARH
TBD P/N: 203500325

I wonder if you cut a cross section out of those Bilsteins, you'll find a Fetzer valve, ball bearings, gauze pads, 3-in-1 oil, and 'bout 10 quarts of Prestone anti-freeze........no; make that Quaker State.!?
Look at the filth and muck on that windshield!

I made a reference to F150 leveling kits that are widely used that Bilstein developed which have a snap ring range. It would not shock me if Ford went this route from the factory, it soo simple to set height. Snap ring grooves on shock body provide up to 2.75"

Interesting comment by itcysquatch about perch. Pittguy 1 seems to have a higher perch than pittguy 2. Maybe that is the difference from BL to Sas? It seems perch would be an easy way to get a little lift?

Thank you, looking at the front, since it has the full part number, here is what we have:

@mtap photos:
Ford P/N: MB3C-18045
TBD P/N: KB3ASY 00034
TBD P/N: 210126A

It is a partial match to the @Pittguy photo
Bilstien P/N: F4-BE5-M968-W7
Ford P/N: MB3C-18045-ARH
TBD P/N: 203500325

So we can see the standard B-OB shocks share the same Ford base number as the BL, WT, FE and Sasquatch, however, those have have the added -ARH to denote the reservoir body shocks.

If the Bronco had Snap Rings grooves, like the F-150 you mentioned, we should see the snap ring grooves on the shock body, are these visible on the F-150 kit your speaking about?

If the Bronco had them, we should see them but they are not visible. Here are a couple views for discussion. When you look at a Bilstein with Snap Ring Gooves they are on an Aluminum Alloy body with machined in grooves. The yellow Bronco shocks are pressed steel so no grooves. Are the F-150 kits like the yellow or silver shocks below?

Would it be wishful thinking: "ARH" = Adjustable Ride Height?
