It honestly doesn't seem like that much of an investment to make a modern day F-150 based bronco, especially if they go with a non-removable roof. All that said, a larger 3 row Bronco makes sense. As long as they do it right and not just tack on 18" to the ass end.
And to all the 2-door purists clutching their pearls and yelling at the clouds, the new Bronco doesn't get green lit without a 4-door. I am sure Ford observed the quick rollercoaster that was the FJ and realized averaging 25k units a year was not worth a billion dollar investment
Me too. Iām getting closer to Shady Pines every day. Now, if they would only deliver it before I get put in a home!
Dually Excursion, just sayin'Donāt need a bigger Bronco.
What I DO need is a new version of a true Excursion on a 2500 platform with diesel V8 option.
My 2003 6.0 Excursion just rolled over 285k and going strong after some fresh rebuilds
That might be feasible. Mercedes still does it in their wagons and I want one so my kids can pick boogers at the car behind us like I used to do in the Oldsmobile wagon.Yes.
call it the Bronco-XL.
At first i thought you meant Excursion, which are now , what? 20 years old?buy an Expy, they are great trucks.

I have been saying for a while the Everest would do well here. Competition in the BoF SUV market is pretty limited. There are many who want a go anywhere SUV but don't necessarily want a removable top and doors.
I'm still waiting for my beloved Borrego to make its glorious return.Any third row SUV needs to be on a full size truck frame. Period. Craning a third row into the back of a 4Runner, Explorer, or Honda pilot does nothing but create an uncomfortable ride for the people who jam into the back, not to mention it destroys cargo space.
Proper third row vehicles are Expeditions, Suburbans, and maybe something like the Sequoia.
but not at the mall or taking the kids to soccerNo more Broncos until they build all of the orders they have. The over hang on this thing would kill you on the trails.
Letās be honest, the vast majority of Bronco owners will very seldom, if ever, go off road. A Bronco with additional space would make sense for a lot of people. It would be a shame to ruin the departure angle, and the break over on the 4 door is already less than ideal without Squatch. The two door is just the right size.
Is that extended cab truck on the #3 render proportions? Could we see it on the #1 render proportions (four-door with a big ass)?4th with suicide doors
5th half cab
6th Extended Cab Truck
