Would love to see a picture of this. I am struggling to understand the problem. I cant imagine you wouldn't need some drop anyway given the height of the bronco. The trailer is supposed to be level to ride right anyway.

Seems like you've never heard of longer tow bars, or extensions.

There is not enough room between the spare tire and the ball to get a normal trailer hitch under there with the locking handle in the up position .... unless you use a 3" to 4" drop hitch.
Something like that, I'll have to check what drop I ended buying for my factory Badlands on 33's ... might have been 3 1/4 and then it just BARRRELY cleared.
2" was a no go, had to put the spare in the trailer.
The same happens with both the base Base with 35"s (added) and the Badlands on 33's.

Another option might be to get a spare relocator bracket that raises the tire a couple inches.

Also, at whatever drop I ended up with, the trailer jack almost couldn't rotate down because it was so close to the ground.

pic of Badlands & 2" drop.... I believe.

Best I have of the larger drop.

It’s not rocket science. Use your brain and. figure a work around. Extension or drop hitch or remove the spare. 1st priority with the design of the Bronco was not towing ability. I tow with mine with a 2” drop hitch just fine though. Every situation is different. My god when internet goes down some of us are doomed lol. Maybe shouldn’t be towing at all.

What effin trailer manufacturer would sell a rig with a jack that sticks up 2 feet and is only 12 " from tongue? Folding jack
Wouldn't a drop down tailgate just smash into the hitch? On the F150 there is a bit more vertical space to accommodate the hitch, but with the lower load floor of the Bronco there is limited space.

I guess you would be able to crack the tailgate a bit, but that would still be really awkward to remove items from.
Drop down tailgate on Ranger doesn't interfere with hitched trailers

Idk what you are pulling but every boat trailer Ive towed with my Bronco has required taking off the tire so the safety pin doesnt hit the tire/bottom of tailgate
I'm confused. Does your safety pin go in vertically or horizontally?

Are you saying that I posted a picture that has zero context to the OP's comment, or that you posted said picture? Asking for a friend.

I use the standard hitch with the common 2” drop…I would need at least a 4” drop to be fine but at that point the trailers will be pointing down which is a no no
I have a 6 inch drop and my utility trailer and my dump trailer both just fit under the tire and they both have a slight upward pitch to the tongue of the trailer.

This is what I put on my BL. Works fine. Found it at U-Haul for $24.95.

Makes pulling a boat easy-peasy.

no clearance issues at all with the standard spare tire. Will add a photo with the boat trailer attached if I can find one.

Here are some pics I found from last summer pulling a trailer with a river float rig. Again not an issue at all hooking it up. 2 min tops.

Is it a One-up rack? I noticed the same lack of space, but I was able to sneak the pin up and over the 7 pin connector to get it in the hole.
no, it’s a kuat, and I think I’ve been able to get the pin in, but it’s way easier to remove the wiring bracket

Who the F### at Ford design the rear of the Bronco to make it f%%%%ng useless for towing unless you remove the spare tire every time

*I have factory tow package
Calm down cowboy. Most of us have no problems.

Now I'm intrigued...
How do you have room to put your pin in from the left side?? I just used my hitch this week in my new to me '23 Badlands with factory tow..
There is no way I'm getting a pin in from the left side. In fact, just today I had a new pin delivered that doesn't have the angle piece on it.

haha! It was a tight fit! My best friend bought me a locking pin. Because of the keyhole it needed to go in from the left side.

I can’t tell you the brand, but it just barely fit.
