I'm wondering since the mod top issue and Ford inviting (perhaps encouraging) FE folks to down grade to a lower trim will all 7000 be built?, sending any cancelled to dealer stock? Or will build numbers be reduced to match converted FE orders?

I bet they'll build all 7000, there will be takers.
Not building them would be a PR disgrace....

Yes, I'm still thinking that. It amazes me that 70% of orders are Badlands ++. Especially when a Base is nicely equipped and if Squatched will have 90+% of any model's capability.

I'm not sure why non-FE reservation holders really care. Spend your money as you wish. I for one love everything about the LB FE I have on order, MIC top and all. I have zero regerts. Only thing that bums me out about the modular top delay is all the folks that will move back ahead of me after switching to the MIC top.

All joking aside, a FE is also likely higher on the priority list to receive constrained parts (SAS, 2-door, lux, etc.) than a non-FE with the same constrained parts, even if the non-FE has an earlier time stamp. So basically pay-for-priority.

I am struggling with keeping my FE with the lack of anything that makes the trim unique. What is the point of getting a first edition when I can spec a badlands in a copy cat FE build and its ~$3k less?

4-door First edition ~$64k (includes destination and fees)
4-door Badlands w/ sasquatch, MIC top, leather, 2.7L, 10-speed, luxe package ~$61k (includes destination and fees)

This is the correct answer. A special color and a decal package. I feel like its fords answer to the TRD PRO. Espeically if they plan to release a new "edition" every 6-12 months like I have heard.
