Mine will never see anything but pavement. I still want the Sasquatch and might even get a winch. I’m on Texas and most likely I will never engage in 4 wheel drive. I am originally a Midwestern guy who had a Bronco II years ago. I figure I’m gonna get one that I want. It is t about what I need.

Why do I want the Sasquatch package so bad even though I know I will never use its capabilities. I guess I can’t say never, but almost never.

Anyone else feel that same way?

It's all about looks. My neighbor has spent $5k+ on his RAM 1500 lifting it and installing 35" tires on new hard to clean wheels. I put a budget lift on his Jeep Wrangler Sahara so he could install 34" tires and hard to clean wheels. He will not take either anywhere but a drive through town. There is a contingent that will take their vehicles offroad. Most are just bro-dozers.

I only run 33" tires on my 2 door jeep, because larger tires would likely break things quicker than I'd like when I am crawling. Wider tires also suck gas, cost more, and track like crap on rutted roads. They get into the fenders and pinch welds too fast also.

You want it because Ford told you that you NEED it. Pure marketing/commercialism on their part and they did a great job. Think about it, how long did it take before we saw a non-Sasquatch from Ford? We saw it so much that people think it "doesn't look right" without it. A large percentage of people's minds can be swayed in to thinking a certain way just by technical advertising tactics. You see it in the news, ads and through commercials everyday and the sad part is people respond to it quite well. Another large group are status buyers, in their mind they just have to have the best or they feel inferior to others. How many times have we read on this forum about someone thinking they will regret not getting Sasquatch the first time someone pulls up next to the Bronco they picked out without Sasquatch? A small percentage actually need the Sasquatch becuase it is either a hobby or an activity they do requires it. there are other categories but you get the point. Millions of dollars are spent on advertisement studies and tactics and it is money well spent by Ford. You NEED a Bronco and you NEED Sasquatch!
On the money!

IMO. It is either pick Squatch or Badlands.
Agree. I have pretty much decided on the Badlands. I have played around and looked at other builds. Every build, except the WT, I end up adding the sasquatch package. I am putting the BL sasquatch money into high or lux package.

Sasquatch is awesome. It's the real deal. Go anywhere off road capable.

It may cost more but when you sell it will be worth more on the used market.

The first owner may not take it off road but the second or third will.

I’m getting(and waiting) on a 2 door, Bad Mansquatch.

There is not any practical reason for my buying this vehicle, outside of the fact that I’ve got fewer miles in front of me than behind.

I’ve got and am keeping a Land Cruiser that will drive comfortably from coast-to-coast and do 95% of what most 4X4s will do, even on M+S rated Michelins.

I love the idea of driving a standard, taking the doors and top off easily and having a vehicle that’s not too nice to let my grown kids borrow. I just might drive it to Moab, but even if I don’t, I relish the idea of driving a really nice-looking rig that will be fun just driving to the convenience store.

As far as the 35s, I don’t care if I have to jump in it like Tom Berenger tried to jump in that Targa in “The Big Chill.” Hopefully, I’ll be a little more successful!

4-door doesn’t look right without it
Even my mother agrees... and she's driving around in a CR-V

At this point, I just really want one of those Big Foot stickers.

Anyone buying a Bronco and knocking others for wanting SAS is full of crap. the entire vehicle is a total want and not a need. Imho, if you don’t want SAS you really are probably not buying the right vehicle.

Sure but I will be able to look that much further DOWN upon people who didn't get it! :ROFLMAO:

j/k. I am still up in the air. I'm a BL and I'll be honest, the stock 33's look pretty good to me plus I want to get my own wheels. I have the money though so it will be a coin flip on order day...
