I'd like a supercharged 5.0 in mine LOL. I guess I'd settle for the 2.7 I ordered at this point. You really can't beat the V8 sound and a SC is just icing on the cake.

For how much they'd charge for it? No thanks. It would only be for the sound anyways. I'm actually excited for the 2.7. I've only owned V6's but never anything forced induction of any kind.

Maybe the 3.5 l V6, but the 2.7l has plenty of power. The Bronco is not a track machine, so faster lap times are not at issue. Lots of other stuff for that kind of fun.

No. Naturally aspirated V8 engines can easily get down to the single digit gas mileage range. I'm already having panic attacks for the 16-17MPG I'm getting in my 2.3L Ranger Tremor. I'm coming from a vehicle that was getting 25-30MPG...

Plus, the 2.7L has all the power of a V8 without any of that pesky sound. I mean really, who likes that deep, amazing growl..

yes, or even a big in-line 6

I'm planning on keeping my Bronco for at least 250,000 miles. A Ford V-8 will do that without sweating, the old I-6 a half million easy. The eco-boost? I have... let's say concerns, both for the long term reliability and maintenance cost.

My wife's new F-150 has the 2.7 eco-boost. Mileage is not really much better than the Coyote. I'm still getting 17.5 mpg in a 15 year old Expedition EL with the 5.4L 3V Triton (and the Expy weighs over 2000 lbs more than the Broco). I'd honestly prefer the tried and true Triton over either eco-boost option.

I would rather have the 3.5 or 3.0. But I would consider it depending on the price.

The 5.0 isn't really that much of an upgrade over the 2.7.

Pass. 2.7 is perfect
The 2.7 is the perfect motor for the Bronco. I have had 2 F150 2.7 and love the motor. Just picked up a 2021 2.7 and the power rocks this truck

I'm pretty sure a cottage industry will spring up, something like a blown 7.3 godzilla into a Bronco. Check out what big-boy toys you can get, turnkey Hellcat, Demon, or Helephant in JL or JT. Nothing like the sound of a blower and putting down 800+ HP.

Before I answer... does it come with a manual transmission and a minimum 6,000 lb. towing capacity?

I'm with you, I don't see ANY advantage to the EB engine, mileage-same, driveability-similar, reliability-coyote, hands down over the turbo motor. Give me a naturally aspirated 6cyl or v8 anyday, over ANY boosted motor.
