I had no regrets since placing my order early this year. Received a production week of 1/24/22 in late November and was stoked about the thought my A51 Wildtrak soft top would be mine soon until my neighbor three doors down showed up with an A51 First Edition in his driveway last week. Still happy to have the Bronco but would have picked Cactus Gray had I known another A51 would be so close. First world problems!

I avoided metallic colors because of how pinstripes would be obvious and the muted colors of the fender flares and tops did seem to match. I liked Race Red and Cactus. Ultimately went with Cactus because it generally looks light green and I plan on getting a white mod top eventually. Cactus really looks good.

Pretty nice….looks ALMOST white. 😉
Yup. Inside it looks lighter, but that is the light. Cactus Gray looks so much better in person.

Any idea how much time I have left before a VIN is assigned? HAs anyone regretted their color choice? What about Cactus Grey? Thanks!
As others have indicated, if you a have a build date, you have a VIN, so stuck like chuck in that regard. Cactus Gray is growing on me, but I most definitely went through color regret and torque envy…my first post went into a dissertation about my conundrum of color and engine choice.

I logged into the back door page and just saw I have a Feb 7 production date! So of course now Im starting to questions my choice of cactus grey. Really, none of the colors do it for me, but Im wondering if I should change before a VIN is assigned. Any idea how much time I have left before a VIN is assigned? HAs anyone regretted their color choice? What about Cactus Grey? Thanks!
Here in Michigan there are Cactus Greys all over the place. When I first saw Cyber Orange I knew that was the color I was getting. I haven't waivered once.

You can still change colors. I believe it’s about the o my thing you can change once you have a VIN. I got assigned a VIN on 10/28 with 1/3 build week and changed from Area 51 to Eruption Green two weeks ago. The production tracker updated to Green and my build date is still slated for week of 1/3 (so far).

My only regret is Ford cancelled Antimatter Blue before mine could be built. Black will be ok, but really wanted the AMB.

I tried to change color to no avail, but that was a couple months ago. Maybe Ford changed their position since, but I was stuck like chuck. Cactus gray, aka mint green in certain light, is growing on me, but likely because I am impatient and impulsive 🤣 When it isn’t mint green, I love it!

Cactus grey is the avacado of the 2020’s - my choice of color is silver simply because it is the least popular …

I’m kinda tempted to switch from Oxford white to Eruption green. I’ve owned three vehicles in my life and they were all white. It’s my favorite color but the eruption green is such a nice color. In my family our vehicles have always been white. My dad insists that it be that way. He did have a 1965 Jaguar e-type once which was British racing green. The eruption green definitely reminds me of that.
I have not seen the green in person, but the white really pops. It stood out the most to me at the Off Roadeo. The white one was a Badlands, the orange badge actually looked pretty good. I considered changing from Cyber Orange, but two things prevented that. The inevitable OJ jokes, and also my co-color-chooser was my son, who was horrified I was thinking of switching from CO.
For context to this process though, my son was 6 when I reserved. He just turned 8. I JUST got a February build date.

My dealer was able to it for me. I was worried they would screw it up but it worked. I had seen others on the forum successfully make the change after VIN so thought it was worth a try. The sooner you try after VIN assignment the better I would think.

I live in the detroit area, so far 90% of the bronco's i see are cactus grey or A51. That even includes the bronco sport. I got my cyber orange, and so far only other one i seen like mine is someone in my sub has same color but no sasquatch package. So far love my orange. It says pretty clean even after driving in the rain a few times. Wish Ford put more bright colors on like jeep does. Some sort of army green, or a got-a-have-it-green like on the mustang, grabber blue would look good from the mustang, so would a nice bright yellow.
